January has been a tough and difficult month for me. I didn’t get as much opps as I did the months before, and as someone who is supporting her partner in the expenses at home, it’s just not working out too well. I just received a text last night from a former colleague, and he referred me to the company he is currently with, and even went ahead as to have an interview slot scheduled for me tonight. Well, as much as I want to just stay home forever, I have to think of my family’s future as well. Wyeth raised their prices a couple of weeks ago, which includes Sanjo’s milk (S-26 Gold).
But, no worries friends. I will still be online everyday if ever I do land myself a job. I still need the extra income from my online gigs. We can never seem to earn more than enough nowadays, what with all the price increase in commodities. And I so want to be able to move out and have our own place, so I think this is a good way to go. Again, do wish me luck guys!

Sun Broadband already disconnected my service since my bill was due last January 19. Oh well. That’s OK. I already sent in my application for Bayan DSL, which almost everyone in this area says is WAY better than Sun. It will be installed within this week, so I have to wait. I am currently using a prepaid broadband from Sun, because I didn’t want to pay P799 for another month. I already cancelled the service earlier today when they disconnected, and since they kept a one month deposit, I don’t have to pay them anything else since my deposit covers my remaining balance. I really hope that Bayan DSL is worth the wait.. I will be starting work with the online gig I got within this week as well, so I hope I get my internet connection when the company sends me my schedule. I wouldn’t want to miss work!

First off, let me say that I am still really pissed about finding out that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo even HAD THE EFFIN’ GALL to run as a congresswoman. From the country’s president to congresswoman? COME ON! She must really love being in politics. OR the perks of it. She must think the people of this country are stupid enough to believe that she just wants to serve this nation. YEAH RIGHT. For the past 9 years, it was the country who served her and the rest of her corrupt family and cronies. While the Filipino people suffered in hunger, she and her party had dinner which cost $20,000 at New York’s Le Cirque. Need I say more?
Anyway, enough of my rants. I was bitten by our dog yesterday. It wasn’t anything major, just some cuts but they’re not really deep so I didn’t bother going to the doctor. The dog got his anti rabies shot a few months ago, so I guess he’s safe. It’s been 24 hours and am still alive and well, so I guess it wasn’t really a big deal. But I got traumatized though. So from this day, he stays outside the house.
