Business ideas

If only I knew of dealers of wholesale electronics, it’s one of the businesses that I would definitely like to get into. There’s a lot of demand for gadgets, most especially for mobile phones, digital cameras, laptops, iPods, and the likes. Everyone seem to want to have the latest model of every gadget there is, and it makes for good business. I’m sure it will be a good market to get into, as long as the prices are competitive. Therefore the dealer or supplier should give really good prices.

E-invites for parties

Sanjo will soon turn one year old come August, and that’s just a little more than a month away. I don’t really plan on throwing a huge and extravagant birthday party, and what we have in mind is just to have a pool party and dinner with family. If there’s any money left from the party budget, then it goes to Sanjo’s savings.

Since I am just inviting family, I don’t think it’s necessary to buy invitations. I am planning to just send e-invites instead, since everyone has access to the internet anyway. It’s nice how convenient creating and sending the invitations will be, all I have to do is click away in front of the computer. And it’s free. There’s tons of sites that offer free online services for baby shower invitations, birthday invitations, wedding invitations, even save the date cards for weddings! Wonderful, wonderful technology.

Here is what I have made as a draft for Sanjo’s e-invite. It’s not done yet, because we haven’t set the date and the venue, but that’ll be easy to add in the next few weeks.

Sammy the Girl Scout

I have 2 prepaid broadband kits with me, because I am not sure when PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company) will be installing my phone and DSL connection. I have Globe Tattoo and SmartBRO, and both are working OK, just not up to par with that of a DSL connection. But, I still plan to keep them even after I have my DSL installed, for backup purposes. My online job is my bread and butter, so I should be like a girl scout and always be ready with a backup plan whatever happens. I am thinking of buying a flash drive for saving backup copies of files in my laptop, just in case. We never know what can happen, and I pray to God my laptop won’t just die on me, but it’s better to be safe than sorry!
